The Lakeside Story

Lakeside Equipment started out with a simple name: LS Equipment Rentals. The “LS” came from our last names—Lehman and Swanson. We’re Shane Lehman and Graham Swanson, lifelong friends who wanted to bring tool and equipment rentals to Sylvan Lake. As the business grew beyond rentals into Husqvarna sales, Eskimo and Ion ice fishing gear, and Forsaflex hose solutions, the name LS Equipment Rentals no longer told the whole story. We rebranded to Lakeside Equipment to better reflect everything we offer and our deep roots in the Sylvan Lake community. Today, Lakeside Equipment is about more than a name—it’s about serving our neighbors with the tools, gear, and hose services they need, right here at the lake.
